Announcement
After more than 45 years,
Sensei Yokota has decided to retire from teaching.
Erik writes:
"Sensei Yokota's dedication to Shotokan Karate can never be replaced. He has worked tirelessly his entire life to spread the knowledge of Karate to hundreds of people around the world. Many, including myself, wouldn't be the Karateka we are without his guidance and teaching. Sensei Yokota was dedicated to the idea that anyone and everyone could learn karate and that karate's 'Secret word' was 'Practice'. I will attempt to carry on this spirit as best I can"

Monday and Wednesday 7:00pm to 8:30 pm.
Classes are held in the dance studio which is on the street side (west) of the gym.
To find the dojo/dance room:
Start at the flagpole on the California Ave. side of the school,
and follow the sidewalk to the left back to the gym area.
Occasionally we train in the cafetorium which is across
the quad from the dance studio towards the street.
Visitors and Traveling Karateka are welcome.
Please introduce yourself prior to class.
